Fit multiple functional spaces into the existing shop while maintaining an open work area and providing convenient access to a substantial amount of overhead storage.
CHALLENGES
Schifer Construction built vertically, incorporating 60 feet of loft storage above the new interior spaces. Below the loft, the layout incorporates a full bathroom, office, and covered tool-bench area while preserving the larger shop floor for everyday use.
SOLUTION
A purpose-built shop interior that combines workspace, storage, office functions, and everyday amenities within one coordinated layout.
OUTCOME
The project included interior wood framing, loft and stair construction, enclosed rooms, metal wall and ceiling finishes, and preparation for the bathroom and water system.
